Stainless steel

The stainless steel industry is one of the main pillars of the world economy. About 15 million tons of stainless steel are produced worldwide each year. It is recognized that this amount will increase even more since stainless steel has great potential for the future. First of all, stainless steel transportation/acid tanks can be used for a wide range of purposes, from kitchen appliances to building construction to food production equipment. Secondly, stainless steel can be completely recycled without creating any environmentally harmful by-products.

Recycled scrap is collected by numerous scrap dealers who have no business affiliation with stainless steel producers. These recycling agents are moved to the scrap market by scrap dealers, such as Bir Polat, who do business with one or more of the major scrap dealers..

At this point, the recycled scrap is sold to stainless steel producers and used as a secondary raw material in new stainless steel production. Our company has an important place in collecting the following types of scraps used as secondary raw materials in stainless steel production.

Non-Magnetic Mixed Stainless Steel Scrap Non-Magnetic Mixed Stainless Steel Scrap consists of various non-magnetic stainless steel solids. General 18-8 alloys or 300 series alloys which include AISI 302, 303, 304, 305, 17-7PH, PH15-7MO. Nickel content can range from 7 to 13% and Chromium content from 17 to 19%.

316 Stainless Steel Scrap 316 Stainless Steel Scrap AISI consists of 316 kinds of stainless steel solids and consists of 0.08% Carbon, 16-18% Chromium, 2-3% Molybdenum, 2% Manganese, 10-14% Nickel, 0.045% Phosphorus, 0.030% Sulfur, 1.0% Silicon and its chemical analysis, the remainder of which is Iron.

309 Stainless Steel Scrap 309 Stainless Steel Scrap AISI consists of 309 types of stainless steel solids. (Also called 25-12 alloy)

310 Stainless Steel Scrap 310 Stainless Steel Scrap AISI 310 consists of stainless steel solids. (Also called 25-20 alloy)

Magnetic Mixed Stainless Steel Scrap Magnetic Mixed Stainless Steel Scrap consists of various non-magnetic stainless steel solids. General Chromium steel and 400 series alloys include AISI 410, 420, 430 grades. The chromium content can be 12 to 16%, and the nickel content can be more than 2%.

Non-Magnetic Stainless Steel Sawdust Non-magnetic stainless steel chips are clean chips that result from drawing or gouging non-magnetic stainless steel.

Monel Scrap Monel scrap consists of a Nickel/Copper alloy with a minimum 60% nickel content.

70/30 Kupro Nickel 70/30 cupro nickel consists of a Nickel/Copper alloy with 70% nickel content.

High Nickel Alloys High nickel alloys consist of any other element or elements with varying percentage of nickel (%).
